Game Review: Vector Tower Defense

Vector Tower Defense is a tower defense game (duh) that features simple retro graphics that are visually pleasing.

It also has a rather unique peril that occurs when the enemies reach you-instead of simply vanishing as in most games, they start over again on a circuit, and will always keep coming until they die or you do.

Like a number of games, Vector lets you get bonuses occasionally. The best bonus is an increase in interest earned: 3%.

In the screenshot above, I was earning 18% interest every time a wave showed up. I scored another bonus point shortly thereafter, and had it up to at least 21%, and could have brought it up to 24% if I'd made a different purchasing decision earlier.

That's rather a lot of money, and after a certain point, it will give you more money than the enemies will.

A fun little game with at least one exploitable mechanic. I can't imagine playing it too often, though.

-Signing off.
