What I personally think is most remarkable about this video is how it perfectly plays on the way a child's fantasy world works.
That dude's ability to steal Lego bricks from anywhere via the little doors in his wall is similar logistically to the way Santa can deliver gifts or Monsters Inc.'s monsters can use magic doors.
It's a weird (and absolutely creepy) but awesome piece of work.
