Playing Chicken

You know, the wonderful thing about less than entirely professionally made games is that you can see things in them that you'd never see elsewhere.

Take Spring's Chicken mods. (Yes, really.) AI was always notoriously the weak point of Total Annihilation, Spring's forebear, and so the designers of the chicken "races" created a self-playing group to give players more challenge.



I spent a fair amount of time today watching some chickens tear into some normal AI players. It wasn't quite this cool...



...but it was pretty fun for a while nonetheless.
